Le 1500 aims to promote local artists including painters, sculptors, photographers and local artisans. Proprietor, Michael F Rumsby FRSA, is an internationally renowned artist with work in galleries and private collections around the world. He paints out of his studio at Le 1500 and informally exhibits his work around the property.
Residential and non-residential painting retreats run throughout the year. Michael also invites a limited number of guests to join him for a weekly Community Art Session in the gardens of Le 1500. Please add me to the waiting list for 2022. Enquire about our next painting retreat.
